I am looking to train four volunteers in Kings County (also other counties) to deliver educational presentations in their community. We have delivered many presentations in Kings County to Seniors Clubs and schools in the Eastern School District. We recognize the importance of educating our youth to live a healthy active lifestyle to reduce their risks of developing type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes, once a disease of older adults, is now being diagnosed in children. We are looking to train four volunteers in Kings County (also other counties) who would volunteer to deliver presentations in their community and who more qualified then a retired teacher. The time required would be approximately 20 hours a year. Please forward this request off to your membership.
