Letter from ACER-CART President Arnold P. Hull to James MacAulay, July 12, 2011:
James,
It was a pleasure seeing you at the ACER-CART 2011 AGM. Truly hope you are having a great summer.
As President of ACER-CART I am reading the member organizations’ newsletters and sending an email to the Director who attended the 2011 AGM. In addition I am sending a copy of this correspondence to Tom Gaskell – Regional Representative - Atlantic. I would ask you to kindly share this email with the PEIRTA Executive and Officers.
The editor of the newsletter, Margaret Stewart, is to be commended for providing such an excellent newsletter. The many reports, services to members and articles of interest provide PEIRTA members with good information in a format that is interesting and attractive. The contributors are also to be commended for their thoughtful articles.
Our best wishes as you prepare for the November 3rd AGM. On behalf of the Executive Committee, Directors and Observers, ACER-CART sends a special thanks to James who represented you with dignity. We will miss his great sense of humour.
I took the time to view the PEIRTA website. Bill Oehlke is to be commended for providing this essential means of communication with and for your members. The page Volunteers in Action was one of the outstanding feature of the website.
Kindly express my appreciation to all members of PEIRTA for their contributions and to the PEIRTA Executive and Officers for their work and dedication in making PEIRTA a vibrant organization for your retirees and that we can be very proud in having as an ACER-CART member organization.
Sincere regards,
Arnold P. Hull
